Several Timbco Hydro-Bunchers are part of Homer's land clearing
fleet. Eliminating the need for manual tree cutting, these
machines are equipped with whole tree shears or "hot
saws", capable of cutting trees up to 30 inches in diameter.
These track driven machines are flexible and rugged, performing
on steep slopes and even in swampy areas or waterways. These
machines can maneuver into tightly wooded areas, allowing
selective tree removal. Modern safety features allow for increased
operator safety at maximum productivity.

These innovative land clearing machines can bundle and transport
logs and tree material across remote site areas. The skidders
allow Homer to efficiently manage a land clearing project,
moving cut trees and brush to strategic chipping areas.

Homer is equipped with the largest, most productive tree chippers
in the industry. The powerful, hydraulic feed system is designed
to chip whole trees up to 30 inches in diameter. These chips
can then be hauled off-site, remain on-site or processed further
into mulch products. Homer is equipped with both stationary
whole tree chippers for large commercial or residential developments
and a track driven, whole tree chipper that is perfect for
roadway or linear projects.

These track driven stump grinders completely remove stumps
on land clearing projects and can access all types of terrain.
Stumps are ground to 36" below ground level, completely
mulching entire stump and associated root mass. The Hydra-stumping
is the final step in the land clearing process, leaving sites
ready for immediate excavation.
